Why the installation is the point
Most camera columns are late because they are waiting for a crane and a groundworks crew. The 150 column goes up from your own van: pad, four bolts, feed the column into the collar, walk it up, lock it. One engineer can have it standing before the camera is out of its box.
When the camera needs service, undo the security bolts and lower the column. No cherry picker, no road closure, no second contractor.
- Is it stiff enough for a PTZ at full zoom?
- Aluminium extrusion is stiff for its weight and the column is sized to the height and head you specify. Tell us the camera and height and we will confirm it.
- Can we put kit in the base?
- The base section has a flush inspection door with its own fixing. There is room for a small enclosure, injector or switch, with the cable running up inside the column.
- Can it be moved later?
- Yes. Undo the security bolts, lower the column, unbolt the flange and reuse it on another pad.
